ALF textile products

Quinsis develops and produces high-quality end products based on ALF textile (Alumina Fiber), specifically designed for environments where extreme temperatures and industrial reliability come together. Whether it concerns furnace linings, heat shields, flexible bellows or thermal barriers — each product is fully custom-made.

Ga naar inhoud

Extreme temperature resistance, maximum flexibility and suitable up to 1,395 °C.

Thanks to the flexibility of the ALF material and our modern production workshop, we can manufacture virtually any shape and size. Our solutions are used in industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, energy, waste processing, glass, ceramics, aluminium and non-ferrous metals, professional kitchen equipment and transport sectors.

ALF textile product groups

1. Heat shields

ALF heatshields are custom-made flexible barriers that reflect a large portion of radiant heat and are used inside furnaces or heaters to protect internal components from excessive thermal exposure. By lowering direct radiation, they extend the lifetime of components significantly. They can be produced in many shapes and withstand temperatures up to 1300 °C.

2. Mono- and multi-tube bellows

ALF Mono- and Multi Tube Bellows are flexible high-temperature sealing units designed to wrap around one or multiple process tubes that penetrate the roof or wall of a furnace or heater. They use premium heat-resistant fabric materials so that the tubes are free to move (due to thermal expansion) without compromising the seal. The bellows are specifically engineered to create a tight fit between the opening (roof or wall) and the process tubes, thereby minimising the ingress of cold air when the furnace operates under slight negative pressure. By reducing unwanted cold air entry, these units help save energy and lower CO₂ emissions in industrial furnace applications.

3. Zone dividers

ALF Zone Dividers are pre-fabricated, lightweight and highly temperature-resistant flexible partitions made from ALF cloth with an inner insulation blanket, rated to withstand up to 1300 °C. They form “hanging walls” or “flexible baffles” inside furnaces or kilns—e.g., suspended from the roof—to subdivide the interior into distinct zones and improve thermal performance. Thanks to the low thermal conductivity of the insulation and the high reflectivity of the ALF material, these dividers minimise heat build-up and reduce energy losses.

4. ALF Sleeves

Protect pipes and cables against heat, mechanical stress and wear. Flexible in use and easy to install.

5.Custom-made confection products

Using specialised industrial sewing machines, we manufacture customer-specific ALF products in almost any shape — from simple covers to complex 3D solutions.
