Mouldables, coatings and adhesives
Quinsis offers a complete range of mouldables, heat-resistant coatings and industrial adhesives for applications exposed to extreme thermal and mechanical loads. These products are developed for bonding, sealing, protecting or repairing refractory linings, insulation systems and metal surfaces in a wide variety of industrial environments.
Thanks to their high temperature resistance, chemical durability and easy application, these solutions contribute to longer service life, increased safety and improved energy efficiency of your installation.
Mouldables and patching compounds
Mouldables are versatile, heat-resistant materials based on refractory fibres and binders. They are available in various densities and viscosities, from injectable types to high-viscosity compounds for manual application.
Typical applications:
- Repair of refractory linings (cracks, worn surfaces)
- Sealing expansion joints
- Patching around burner blocks and furnace openings
Benefits:
- Temperature resistance up to 1600 °C
- Low thermal conductivity
- Shock and vibration resistant
- Easy to apply by injection, trowel or manual forming
- Chemically stable and wear resistant
Heat-resistant adhesives and coatings
Our industrial adhesives and coatings are developed to bond or protect refractory and metal surfaces. They adhere to various substrates and are suitable for both structural bonding and surface protection against erosion or wear.
Applications of adhesives:
- Bonding blankets, paper, boards, modules and textile products to metal or refractory surfaces
- Adhering glass fibre products to heat-exposed components
- Fixing components such as boards and sleeves
Applications of coatings:
- Protection against erosion, wear and thermal load
- Extending the service life of refractory materials
Benefits:
- Temperature resistance up to 1600 °C
- Strong adhesion to ceramics, metal, glass and fibre materials
- Fast curing and easy application
- Increases the durability of components
