Insulation blankets

for high temperature solutions

As fibre blankets are essential in the high-temperature insulation industry, it is important to understand what sets SoliBlanket™ apart from other suppliers. The SoliBlanket™ range includes five types of refractory ceramic fibres (RCF) and the well-known low bio-persistence 'ULS®' fibre. This extensive range offers one of the most diverse selections of high-temperature fibre blankets on the market. Thanks to the variety of chemical compositions, we can provide a suitable solution for virtually any atmosphere and temperature.

Our preference for
SoliWool™ fibre products

At Quinsis, we have in-depth knowledge and extensive experience with a wide range of high-temperature insulation solutions. Thanks to our flexibility, we can select and apply any brand or type of insulation material whenever needed or specified. Based on our many years of expertise, however, we often opt for the high-quality, unique properties of SoliWool™ fibre products.

Our SoliBlanket RCF grades

The range is divided into three categories based on the specific applications and conditions for which they are designed.

  1. Standard Grade RCF

This series comprises two types of ceramic fibre blankets:

  • X-grade: excellent insulation for standard applications up to 1,260°C.
  • ZR-grade: broad temperature resistance for general insulation needs up to 1,430°C.
  1. Special Grade RCF

The special RCF range includes three specific types, designed for specialised and demanding applications.

  • HP-grade: a high-purity fibre blanket for specific thermal requirements.
  • HA-grade: a unique blanket with a high aluminium oxide content, without zirconia, resistant up to 1,370°C.
  • CR-grade: a chromium-rich fibre suitable for intensive heat processes up to 1,480°C.
  1. Low Bio-Persistence (LBP) Grade

This group includes our ULS® grade (Ultra Low Shot), a Generation III fibre blanket offering superior handling, maximum tensile strength and excellent thermal insulation.

Ultra Low Shot technology

Ultra Low Shot technology is designed to minimise energy consumption and reduce CO₂ emissions, supporting sustainable environmental goals. Independent tests show that SoliBlanket X-grade performs up to 36% better than other tested RCF blankets. For the best thermal performance and durability in fibre linings, Generation III products are the optimal choice.

Available sizes and densities of SoliBlanket

SoliBlanket products are available in a wide range of sizes and densities from 64 kg/m3 to 160 kg/m3, and in thicknesses from 6 to 50 mm. The standard blanket width is 610 mm, but we also offer SoliBlanket in a width of 1,220 mm.
